How to Wear DIY: A little leather, a little edgy

Mmmmm, early summer. It's finally here.  Still sort of moody weather here, so I'm rocking the transitional looks--it was super hot a little this weekend but is supposed to be back to 61 today.  You never know in Oregon.

But, I love that maxi skirts are still in, been super into them the past few weeks!  I think I want to make myself the perfect light colored maxi dress, but until I find the perfect fabric, I have been wearing a couple of maxi skirts I have.  Over the weekend I paired this tee with a black J.Crew maxi skirt I've had since, about, 2002. ;) Some basics are in style for a looong time!

And it's been a tad humid, hence the frizzy hair. ;)
Skirt: J.Crew, c. 2002! (similar) Sandals: JC Penney. Bracelet: eBay.
Lipstick: Radiant Flamenco. Necklace: Forever 21 (similar/similar). Tee: DIY!

I wanna know, have you been wearing maxi skirts this spring or summer?  Do you dress yours up or down?

  4. no maxi skirts for me. I'm really short, so they don't look good on me. At least those I've tried so far.

    And your hair looks great!
