Fave incredible Instagram accounts with less than 5k followers!

I've been so impressed by Instagram lately. I see some accounts posting beautiful images all the time, genius DIY projects, some with great blog posts to go with... I really wanted to shout them out!!

Here's a list of several fantastic Instagram accounts you will enjoy following and watching!!

First, LeeAnn at @knives.walking. She has been killing it lately! She recovered and recaned some vintage side chairs, has painted wainscoting and her fireplace, and is doing lovely styling mixing antiques and new pieces. Gorgeous stuff!!

Allie @theadoredabode--you'll enjoy the beautiful, peaceful color palette on her feed. She also has a great DIY blog of same name and has talked about her budget kitchen reno, exterior painting, and current project gorgeous, big bathroom reno.

Have to list Nancy @thehillsidehouse. I shared her in my fave modern traditional IG accounts post too. She is sweet and smart and thoughtful, and the best at finding unique art. She also does great DIYs like paneling, wallpapering, painting, sewing, and more.

Another fave is Robyn from @robyn.rebecca. She and her husband are tackling a HUGE project in their first home--it's massive and straight out of the 80's (mind = blown by the before tour on her blog). They are painting all the paneling in their 2-story living room and scraping down all the popcorn everywhere, room by room.. I am exhausted just thinking about it! She is also expecting a baby girl this summer and is designing a charming English country-inspired nursery.

Katie @housewithhome keeps popping up in my feed with gooorgeous images and incredible before/afters like this one (fireplace below). Another beautiful color palette, and she has a blog too with some great resources like about her IKEA kitchen reno.

Katie @katiekincaidfarris is a newer one to me but I am just blow away by her brand new-build, historic-inspired home. She put so much thought into every detail! It reminds me of a historic house museum mansion. The black-and-white checkerboard laundry room floor, the leaded glass doors... wow!!

Leanne @the.loveleelife is a fellow Portlander and her house is so, so similar to mine--both Tudor revival style homes from the 1930's and we're probably 20 miles apart so may have even had some of the same suppliers or subcontractors. She rocks black/white and a very clean, fresh palette--still with all the historic charm!

Hannah @hamb.home is another newer one to me but OMG, I loooove her home. Her bedroom built-ins, her large airy living room, uses of color and wallpaper, even her guest bath. It's also historic and she's been lovingly renovating it. A really cool house!! Her house tour was on Houzz here

I love Instagram for new sources of inspiration all the time. People everywhere are doing cool projects and it's great to broaden what you're exposed to--don't just look to the big designers and home magazines for new ideas. I hope this list has you following some new accounts you love!
