Blog redesign!

You've probably noticed the very recent blog redesign that Adventures in Dressmaking has just undergone.  It's all new Adventures in Dressmaking--beta!  Let me know if you find any buttons or issues that don't work.

All of this is thanks to the incredibly stylish and talented Nadine of Fox and Toad Design.  Check out her portfolio for some seriously cute stuff!

If you have any issues viewing the blog, please leave a comment below! and let me know what the problem is and what browser you're using!

  1. For some reason, your blog at first appears fine, but then your whole left bar goes and it looks all it just me? I can't see your pineterst fb and etc buttons :(

  2. Very weird, @Dorian... we'll look into it! What browser are you using?

  3. It's pretty! Very pretty! But I'm having the same problem as Dorian... I can't see the stuff on the left hand, even when I push the browser window over. I'm using Safari on my macbook pro.

  4. I can't see a lot of text--the line just ends! I am using Safari.

  5. Using Google Chrome and everything looks just fine, just so you know. Nice redesign, by the way.

  6. I'm using Google Chrome on a Macbook and all I've noticed is that your site is very wide. It used to fit just fine in my browser window and now I have to scroll sideways to see the righthand bar. Otherwise it looks nice! I like the ribbon/rickrack theme.

  7. i love the redesign! looks great on safari :)

  8. Looks great! I love your little media buttons with the lace and rick rack!

  9. Looks great!! :) new designs are always exciting :)

  10. Like it! All working in Firefox perfectly! Love the ric-rac trim. :-)

As Ruth, I also can't see the ends of the lines, the bar on the right just seems to cut it somehow...

  12. I have the latest version of Firefox and it seems that the blog is too wide for my screen.

The text on the very far left is not visible. Your top menu bar reads rials Current Giveways...

The middle portion is too narrow by about four characters. Ex. The word comment in your last sentence is shown as comme

There is nothing showing on the right hand side of the screen.

When I clicked to make a comment, the middle portion widened and your right bar was visible although it also hangs off the edge of the screen. However, when I returned to the Home page, the original problems reappeared.

    Good luck!

  13. How odd, lsaspacey! Thanks for all the details. We're working on fixes!

  14. i love it! its gorgeous & showing up on my screen (pc running firefox) perfectly! :)

  15. Everything looks fine to me on the latest Firefox.

  16. Here from See Kate Sew Pleat week. Really enjoying reading through your blog!
