Ruffled striped tank

Yes, I'm in France, but I wanted to share with you a project I did before I left.  It's a super easy way to upgrade a tank!
I started with this ribbed striped tank from Gap, $3.99 on sale.
I used some cheap white quilter's cotton and made ruffles, and saved some for a fake placket.  I sewed it all down and added some vintage white buttons.  Way more fun this way!

  1. Oh my gosh I'm totally obsessed! I have recently been embellishing little t's with ruffle flowers. I have to try this idea, it looks awesome!
