Big baby bump! Maternity photos on the Oregon coast

I can't believe how big my belly has grown... and am so glad we got to document this magical time!! We took maternity photos at the coast and they are SO gorgeous and fun, excited to share with you!

And stay tuned for the surprise photos at the end!

These are all by Crystal Frost, an Oregon coast photographer I met through Instagram. We hadn't taken a mini-break to the coast in so long and I thought Jason's spring break, when I was about 37 weeks pregnant, would be the perfect time and place for some bump photos! (See photos from our trip here and how lucky we got with the weather on the day of these pics!)

Crystal was super fun to work with and got even my slightly camera-anxious husband feeling happy and laughing! Plus she kept complimenting us about how cute we were. Sure helped us feel comfortable!

Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area is an amazing place and these were actually all taken at the top of a HUGE sand dune. So we got some great views!

I wore this dress, which I also wore to my baby shower. It is comfy, flattering on the bump, and dramatic enough for photos--and you can wear a regular bra with it. Huge plus for already-not-feeling-glamorous pregnant lady.

Surprise!! We also did some photos of me in a bikini. I think I saw some maternity photos of a food blogger friend like 5 years ago, baring her bump in a pretty country location, and I was convinced. I am so proud of what my body has done these past 9 months and feel so confident and strong, I want to remember this with some beautiful photos. So here you go--possibly the first, maybe the last?, bikini photos of me for the internet!

I also had fun shopping for this shoot, since I haven't bought non-maternity clothes in months now... I wore this kimono and this super cute and affordable suit (top/bottoms).

This photo looks sort of cheesy but I was seriously excited to be soaking up the sun, it felt so good!!

This one feels so "me"--messy hair, Oregon winter pale/pink skin, hugging my baby belly!

I am so happy we have these photos and memories!
