MY bachelorette recap

Oh, yeah, I'm getting married... TODAY!  Don't worry, I'm writing this post ahead of time and scheduling it to post.  I doubt I'll have much computer time on my WEDDING DAY!  OMG!

I did want to share a pic from my lovely bachelorette night...

Apparently the actual Bachelorette recently had a finale, and I just read about Kim Kardashian crashing her fiance's bachelor party on her bachelorette night, but real people like me have bachelorette parties, too.

The night was a lot of fun, complete with balloons, sashes, bubbles, fake bling, and a TIARA!  Which I loved.  All of my female relatives who are in town came out, and my bridesmaids and some friends.  We went to dinner at a classy "Asian fusion" place in NE Portland, then the older generation left and my bridesmaids and I went out to a couple of bars.  I don't really drink or go out much but we had a super good time just being silly and walking around clearly for the special occasion.

All the guests wore black and I wore this pale peachy-pink confection that I made and will be blogging about soon--and I got to wear some fabulous nude platform peeptoe heels that I haven't worn before.  I didn't bring a camera, but my mom was quick to post a few pics on Facebook.  So, I don't have documentation of the Dollar Tree tiara on my head, but here I am with three of my lovely bridesmaids:

It was so great to be surrounded by friends and family right before the wedding, having a fun, girly night out.  The weekend is pretty busy--Thursday bachelor/bachelorette night (my fiance went canoeing with groomsmen and my dad and uncles!), Friday errands and rehearsal dinner, Saturday wedding setup and wedding, Sunday family brunch.  I'm SO excited.

That means today... YAY, wedding!!!
