Recycled silk ikat wrap skirt--Dress!

Wanted to share a project I did a while back, but just put the finishing touches on this week.
As you may know, I like to shop at the Goodwill Outlet, where I find all kinds of random things I didn't know I needed.  One of those things was a full-length silk ikat woven design wrap skirt, probably from an import store.  I looooved the fabric and the color, but never wear long, straight skirts, but for $1.39/lb, I bought it.
With so little fabric, my options for its new life were limited, but I didn't want to make it into another skirt.  I had enough for a straight dress, and wanted to do something that could be dressed up a little--I thought a strapless would work well.
I am kicking myself for not taking a "before" shot, but I bought this skirt and assembled most of the dress pre-blog, so there isn't one.  You know what a wrap skirt looks like, though, right?
I used this pattern for the pleated skirt, McCall's M5686, and sort of made up the bodice.
Here's how it turned out!
I love the ikat print and bright colors!  And it's silk, so it feels nice, too!
