what to wear

Oh that top is fab!! It's actually exactly the style I've been looking for too. Is there any fastening at the back or can you just pull it over your head? Also, what do you think is the minimum amount of fabric you could make this top out of (I have a tiny bit of Liberty fabric that I want to put to good use!!)?? I really love the colours and print of the fabric you used - wish I could find gems like that in charity shops near me!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Easy to wear and gorgeous pattern!!
ReplyDeleteOh, so cute! I have some pieces of old fabric (I don't know if they qualify as vintage) and I didn't know what to do with them. You are my inspiration!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you!
lindinha! adoro estas blusinnhas parabens
ReplyDeletePretty top. I think the fabric looks great.
ReplyDeleteI have this Pattern! I haven't sewn it up yet so it is nice to know it is fairly easy. Love your top, the print is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is super easy to make. Suzie, there's no fastening in the back at all, and it took less than a yard!
I think it looks fantastic, i love the print.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeletethis is what i love about your designs - you use these patterns that I would never like because the fronts make them look so tacky/ugly/bad, but you take a cute print or a few alterations and you make something that is much cuter and much cheaper than buying it somewhere like anthro or urban outfitters. plus, you get the satisfaction of knowing you made it!
ReplyDeletePolexia, thanks so much for that comment--the looks on the fronts of the patterns are so often hideous and poorly fitting, so you have to think outside the box to make cute stuff from them. That is a great compliment, thank you so much!
