How to Wear DIY (While Christmas tree-shopping!)

How to Wear DIY again... you remember my crazy red jeans I was so excited about?  Formerly corset jeans, now much smaller, much more normal brights that are so fun for this season.

I wore them Christmas tree-shopping with my husband his family.  Seemed like a perfect occasion!  We have so many U-cut tree places here in Oregon and it's so fun to go pick out a tree among the thousands, then sip cocoa and eat candy canes by the fire at the little shop on the farm.  And my husband and his brother do all the work, so it's no harder for me than going down to the grocery store parking lot.  This farm is outside Forest Grove, west of Portland.

Wore them with an Old Navy puffy vest that I basically live in in the winter.  I really need to get one in a color besides black... hopefully this year I will.

Just got these pull-on Steve Madden riding boots for a steal on Overstock.com.  I cut corners on a lot of things but insist on real leather boots, so I got lucky with these.  And boots just keep your feet so much warmer than anything else!

I love the Christmas season!
