Fun flippy hem detail on this skirt!


As I build my work wardrobe, I recognize that one piece that's relatively quick and easy to make is a skirt.  But of course I want interesting skirts, with flattering shape and fun details that make them different.  Which is why I was happy to grab this pattern when McCall's were on sale for $0.99...
It's McCall's M5523, and I made option D.  I used a charcoal heather suiting with a bit of a navy tint to it, also on sale at JoAnn's.

It looks simple in the front...

...but has a cute flippy hem detail in the center back!!
It's a professional-looking skirt for work, that also has some fun to it!

P.S. I think my camera is broken.  We took these with my phone.  I have been wanting a new camera for a while... thinking about a Cannon Rebel.  I welcome suggestions if you have any!
