Fall One Room Challenge reveals I can't stop staring at

The One Room Challenge has wrapped up again! This is a bi-annual design event where over 8 weeks, 20 featured designers and hundreds of guest participants make over a room and document the process every week. I've participated 6 times! (See all my ORC posts here and all my room reveals here.) I did not have it in me to join in this fall, but it is so fun to watch all the projects going on and I love checking out all the reveals. There are so many good ones and so much hard work goes into them (see all the guest reveals here) but I put together a list of my all-time faves that are really exciting to me right now. Great trends, bold choices, real-life usable spaces... here they are!

One Room Challenge reveals I just love

1. Kentucky Rose Designs living room

This room is so dramatic! She added all the molding and chose that perfect rich blue to go with the brass/gold (I looove all the cool antique frames), and hey, that's the sofa version of this chair I also have. But it looks way more interesting in her house, against something other than white walls!

2. Flynn Haus girl's bedroom

This is so beautifully done. It's like a classic sweet, vintage-ey girl's room, with some unexpected touches. The wallpaper is actually a modern pattern but feels classic, and the curtains feel substantial and well thought-out. Plus, I love a Jenny Lind bed.

3. Hemma Interiors bedroom and closet

That scalloped dresser, the gingham (there are at least 4 instances of it), wallpapered closet, unique light fixtures... well done!

4. Goldalamode office

Cara is so talented and has been working so hard on her new fixer upper. This office space was a total down-to-the-studs remodel, and has a really special fanciful vibe!

5. @sedimentaryhome boy's bedroom

Really wowed by this incredible rich, moody color and all the interesting things Laura and her son chose to display in this room. So different, just beautiful!

6. @hamb.home's dining room

Hannah really went for it and this dining room feels fancy but so exciting. I love the wallpaper and this moment.

7. @oliveandmax girl's room

Another beautiful soft pink, love that. Even matching curtains! Great to see beadboard paneling wrapped all the way around the room instead of just a feature wall. And really, this room feels playful and like a girl would really love living here!

8. Grace Wagenman's bathroom

That antique (Facebook Marketplace find) dresser-turned-vanity just kills me. I've seen that done many times before but this one is perfection! Love the gold frames against the dark walls, too.

9. @heyfeatherstone's nursery

There are so many special handmade details in this charming room. I wish I'd had that much creative energy and time when I was expecting either of my babies... though I'm feeling inspired to add more unique details to their rooms now!

This event is so much hard work, huge congrats to everyone who participated and thanks for inspiring us to make over a room or two of our own!
