Photos from the fashion show last weekend!

Just had to show you photos from the Alley 33 Fashion Event I modeled in last weekend. Was lots of fun to see designs from 20+ Portland designers, and of course to model Kim's fun retro looks for her company Jitterbuggin'.

There were outfits in a wiiiiiiide range, from screen-printed patterns on swimwear to 100% recycled creations to simple, wearable, flowy dresses. There was formal wear (lots of tulle, lace, and feathers!) as well as vintage-inspired mod looks, western wear for men, and locally made wood platform wedges. And there was a big crowd!

Here are a few of the pieces I found most interesting, and then I'll show you the vintage-ey looks the Jitterbuggin' models got to wear!

(Photos by David Adams and, where watermarked, Sarah Giffrow.)

I really liked some of the soft knits, and the little pattern, necklace, and belt that dress up the simple tank dress on the right.

It's kinda crazy, but I loved this cutout swimsuit...
And the western shirtdress? What a great idea!!

And how funky is the 60's-ey Peter Pan collar dress with ladder print in soft 80's colors and modern pockets and skirt shape? Fun!
And the stripes and patterns look great on the tank/skirt combo on the right.

And then, of course, there was us! Five of us modeled Kim's designs, and Kim herself was one of them (I think she was the only designer to model, too)--that's her on the right. On the left is fellow Portland blogger Twila Jean--she just reviewed the event, too!

Here I am wearing a soft green bamboo print halter with crossover skirt, rocking my Rita Hayworth hair look! I love the bamboo bracelets I got to wear, too!

And, of course the other looks from Kim's line: The great white and navy dress, so preppy and cute on Summer, and I looooove the lobster print on the playwear bikini modeled by Solanah (of Vixen Vintage, another great Portland blog!)!

And, of course, at the end we all took a curtain call. Ta-da!!
