You could also layer a thin long sleeve black top underneath it and it would look like a long sleeved dress.Adventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-18478972125824812692013-09-07T14:46:46.561-07:002013-09-07T14:46:46.561-07:00Maxi dresses totally work for fall!

Your dress is pretty fitted, so I think you could wear bigger, chunkier sweater with it and it would be fine. Chunky infinity scarf would work for sure. You could also try a fitted denim shirt over top, and belt it at the waist. I would even try cownoy boots or 70's style high heel boots. and a large 10's style felt hat...
Have fun styling this one up!!Adventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-33296305726466016412013-09-07T13:47:36.573-07:002013-09-07T13:47:36.573-07:00I love it. It requires some work but I've debating on how to style it. This really helped!

http://aredesignedlove.blogspot.comAdventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-5085680708722520722013-09-06T07:53:25.499-07:002013-09-06T07:53:25.499-07:00Oops spot the typo rrrrrr lolOops spot the typo rrrrrr lolAdventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-36448692011119717842013-09-06T07:52:52.121-07:002013-09-06T07:52:52.121-07:00Or wearr one of those cute crop cardigans Love the...Or wearr one of those cute crop cardigans Love them https://www.facebook.com/SassySewingBeesAdventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-37637569145802709942013-09-06T07:19:22.433-07:002013-09-06T07:19:22.433-07:00Or you can always make one just for fall. I love all of the cover up styles the past few years and they would be fun with a maxi. Now I'm off to check my closet.Adventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-49442429889001209392013-09-06T07:19:10.343-07:002013-09-06T07:19:10.343-07:00Very cute! And because the fabric is heavier, it works so great for a fall maxi dress. With a cute short jacket or cardigan it would be perfect!Adventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-16030182581056448462013-09-06T06:08:56.872-07:002013-09-06T06:08:56.872-07:00This is a gorgeous dress - and it has so much pote...This is a gorgeous dress - and it has so much potenital. It really is the perfect 'build block' to work for autumn (I'm from the uk!). And I love the fabric you used, so much more interesting than plain black, but still works as a basic.Adventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-44628809123809945532013-09-06T06:08:14.317-07:002013-09-06T06:08:14.317-07:00I wear my summer dresses with cropped jean jackets...I wear my summer dresses with cropped jean jackets when it gets colder. Maxi dresses are totally cool for fall but I wouldn't wear them on rainy days, just for practical reasons! I have a gorgeous piece of fabric that's just begging to be turned into a long-sleeved maxi wrap dress...Adventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-32758496358292009562013-09-06T06:07:39.688-07:002013-09-06T06:07:39.688-07:00That sounds lovely! That sounds lovely!Adventures in Dressmakinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00276208940528297433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5757733747822094075.post-15989568218120004272013-09-06T05:46:45.635-07:002013-09-06T05:46:45.635-07:00I'd totally throw a light sweater over it, may...I'd totally throw a light sweater over it, maybe one with a wider neck so it falls off a shoulder.
